We are seeking an outstanding and self-motivated individual with a background in sports development and coaching to join our exceptional sports apprenticeship team.

This is an exciting opportunity to build on the success of a national programme, supporting apprentices and employers across England and the wider sector.

The successful candidate will be an innovative, enthusiastic and student-focused professional who is passionate about developing talent and inspiring learners to achieve their full potential.

The post holder will bring industry expertise and play a key role in enhancing teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development across our sports apprenticeship provision.

The role will involve delivering engaging learning sessions (online and in-person) to groups of apprentices, alongside conducting workplace assessments and providing personalised support to individual learners.

In addition, the post-holder will take responsibility for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while coordinating curriculum planning, quality assurance and continuous improvement across our sport apprenticeship provision.

We are looking for someone with industry experience, strong vocational knowledge and a flexible, proactive approach to their work.

Ideally, you will have experience of teaching, training and/or assessing within an educational or apprenticeship setting, and a proven commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences that lead to successful outcomes for apprentices and their employers.

The department currently delivers sport apprenticeships from Level 2 through to Level 4, and therefore the ability to support learners across a range of programmes is essential.

A sound understanding safeguarding, health and safety requirements is also required.
