This is an exciting opportunity to work with learners across our Education and Early Years programmes. We are looking to work with caring and inclusive individuals who can prepare Further Education learners for their next steps in training, and ready them for the Education and Early Years industry.

Our programmes are designed to ensure learners are highly sought after by employers and universities through both exceptional theoretical knowledge and practical work-based skills. Due to significant growth, we are seeking to appoint a full time lecturer to support our Education and Early Years programmes.

Candidates may be experienced Early Years workers, Primary teachers, SEND teachers, Educational or Child psychologists, or other education/childcare professionals looking to change their existing role to teaching high achieving and enthusiastic learners.

This role will also include pastoral support for learners through being a personal tutor as well as academic teaching, learning, and assessment. This post would suit a current practitioner that is enthusiastic about the role of education in supporting young people to become ready for employment or progression to further study and supporting Somerset to grow our own Education and Early Years workers for the future.
