The post holder will be joining an AoC Beacon award winning & TES Nominee provision and the College's Sports, Outdoor Education and Public Services Department is outstandingly successful. It prides itself on its emphasis on constantly improving and developing teaching techniques and strategies. You would be working in an environment where you will be encouraged to devote time to innovative teaching approaches which will stimulate the learners and ensure that the provision continues to be bigger, better and different.

The person appointed to the post will be expected to play a proactive role in growing links locally, regionally and nationally with key external agencies including; The FA, Association of Colleges Sport, Somerset Activity Sports Partnership, Somerset County Schools FA related National Governing Bodies, local feeder schools and local community, semi-professional and professional sports clubs.

Alongside this work focus, the post holder will also coach and help drive the Colleges vision in all aspects of its football related provision of Team UCS.
