Lead and deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment for A Level English Language, ensuring outstanding student progress, achievement and progression. In addition to leading the English Language A Level, you will also contribute more widely to the English department and deliver on either the A Level English Literature or Language and Literature programmes, working collaboratively with the Course Leader of these courses.
As post‑holder you will coordinate a highly effective teaching, learning and assessment experience across both years of A Level English Language, act as an A Level personal tutor and contribute to the wider A Level enrichment programme, whilst adhering to the college's rigorous quality monitoring measures.

The ideal candidate will have some relevant vocational experience and a good understanding of the English sector, recent industry developments and relevant employment and progression opportunities.
