Lead and deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment for A Level English Language, ensuring outstanding student progress, achievement and progression. In addition to leading the English Language A Level, you will also contribute more widely to the English department and deliver on either the A Level English Literature or Language and Literature programmes, working collaboratively with the Course Leader of these courses.
As post‑holder you will coordinate a highly effective teaching, learning and assessment experience across both years of A Level English Language, act as an A Level personal tutor and contribute to the wider A Level enrichment programme, whilst adhering to the college's rigorous quality monitoring measures.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners by maximising their potential to make positive progress towards timely success. The ideal candidate will have some relevant vocational experience and a good understanding of the English sector, recent industry developments and relevant employment and progression opportunities.
