The opportunity
University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Fashion Marketing and Sustainability to join the MA Fashion Marketing and Sustainability course at London College of Fashion (LCF). This dynamic course sits within the Marketing & Branding Programme and is based in our Fashion Business School. The course helps postgraduate students to develop the analytical, communication and entrepreneurial skills they need to positively influence communities and the environment through fashion marketing.
As a key member of the course team, you will contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of the MA course, with a particular focus on fashion marketing theory and practice, marketing and sustainability strategies, sustainability policies and their impact on the fashion industry, and evolving consumer behaviour. Drawing on your specialist marketing and sustainability knowledge, you will help advance the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will provide pastoral support to a group of postgraduate students. This includes monitoring progress and attendance, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with colleagues as appropriate. You will also supervise and guide students through the development of their Master’s projects.

About you
We are looking for a skilled academic practitioner with an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area. You will also need previous teaching and assessment experience in Higher Education or an equivalent context. You should bring strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills to the role, along with the ability to apply creative and inclusive approaches to teaching, learning and professional practice.
