Job description
The opportunity:
The Finance Systems Accountant will provide first and second-line support and training for the users of the Finance ERP, Agresso Business World, together with their related interfaces.
The successful candidate will progress support calls with the supplier, test new upgrades and provide support and guidance on future system developments.
As a member of Digital & Technology (D&T), you will also support and contribute to the University, D&T and Finance strategies and direction.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a financial environment to understand financial business reporting requirements, operational accounting processes and controls.
- Recognised as an authority in ABW financial systems development and administration based on demonstrated expertise. This will include Agresso Core Financials, Logistics, Project Costing and Billing, and workflow across both Smart Client and Agresso Self Service.
- Experience of maintaining 3rd party interfaces with ABW, Excelerator, and experience of building Database View Definitions (Desirable).
- Writing and developing reports using Agresso Browser.
- Ability to create training manuals and reference guides to support users across the University when using the Finance ERP.
- Professional Accounting Qualification (Desirable).
