WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
- As a Linen Porter, you will be responsible for the handling, storage, and distribution of linen throughout the hotel.
- You will support the housekeeping team to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are fully stocked with clean linen and ready for service.
THE DUTIES
- Collect, transport, and distribute clean linen to housekeeping and other departments.
- Collect soiled linen and ensure it is returned to the laundry efficiently.
- Assist with sorting, folding, and storing linen according to hotel procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of linen rooms and trolleys.
- Monitor linen inventory and report shortages or damages.
- Support housekeeping with additional tasks as required.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading linen deliveries when necessary.
