We are looking for a person passionate about making a difference to join the Universities UK policy team. We shape the future of higher education, which changes the lives of students, graduates, researchers, university staff and local communities.

You will take responsibility for a range of policy areas related to higher education regulation and quality and standards. You will be enthusiastic about developing new ideas to influence key decision makers and be creative in approaching policy challenges. You will be confident using evidence and data, assessing trends, and engaging with stakeholders to inform our work. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and responding to political developments, with an ability to work on multiple projects at any one time.

Universities UK operates a hybrid working framework involving the opportunity to work from home and in the office. There will be a small number of roles where employees will be required to work from an office, but typically the majority of employees will be able to work remotely on average 60% of their working week. All employees are welcome to use their contractual office for their whole working week if that is their preference.
