About the role
In your role as PMO Analyst, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to lead and manage the PMO for the 2026 valuation programme, ensuring robust governance, comprehensive planning, accurate reporting, proactive risk management, and effective delivery support. This role is critical to enabling the successful execution of a complex, multi-year, cross-functional programme.
The Analyst will play a key role in supporting the programme by producing and maintaining core PMO artefacts (including RAIDs, plans, controls, reports, and analysis) and will act as a deputy to the Programme Manager when required. This is a hands-on position that demands a proactive, adaptable, and energetic individual who can engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a pragmatic, can-do attitude, a willingness to dive into actuarial technical detail when necessary, and a strong sense of teamwork. In addition, they will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs are essential.
What you will be doing
As a trusted part of the Group Risk and Funding team you will be responsible for reporting to the Head of Stakeholder Programmes. The Analyst will play a key role in supporting the programme by producing and maintaining core PMO artefacts (including RAIDs, plans, controls, reports, and analysis) and will act as a deputy to the Programme Manager when required. This is a hands-on position that demands a proactive, adaptable, and energetic individual who can engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
This role encompasses the following areas:
- Governance & Oversight
- Support the 2026 valuation programme and its component parts, by understanding the sequence of events and their cross-dependencies enabling impact analysis if milestones move.
- Maintain and actively manage PMO governance control documentation to ensure accuracy, relevance, and cohesion across all workstreams.
- Manage action Logs and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate key governance forums, including scheduling, circulation of materials, recording minutes and tracking actions.
- Ensure adherence to change control and approval processes, working with the programme team to ensure a clear audit trail for key artefacts and decisions.
- Promote best practices, standards and tools in collaboration with Enterprise PMO to drive consistency across the programme.
- Planning, Scheduling & Management Support
- Maintain and monitor the integrated programme plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and key milestones.
- Consolidate milestone trackers from individual workstreams into overall programme view of the valuation.
- Develop a clear understanding of the valuation plan and its dependencies to assess and communicate potential impacts of milestones changes.
- Engage proactively with valuation workstream leads to identify requirements and provide timely support.
- Ensure programme information is accurately captured in the overarching roadmap.
- Coordinate logistics for cross-functional teams, including scheduling and organising meetings and workshops.
- Tracking, Reporting & Insights
- Provide accurate and timely programme reporting (including status reports, dashboards and executive updates) allowing enough time for review.
- Prepare high-quality management information packs for senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity, consistency and cohesion throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Identify, track & manage risks, issues and dependencies ensuring appropriate mitigating plans are in place.
- Maintain action logs and proactively follow up on outstanding items to ensure progress.
- Work with Finance business partners to provide regular budget and forecast updates.

- Experience working in actuarial or financial services environments would be an advantage.
