Financial Reporting Project Manager

Business Area: Finance

About the Role

In your role as Financial Reporting Project Manager, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.

This role provides a great opportunity to project manage the Scheme Annual Report & Accounts (ARA), USSIM and USSL statutory accounts, and the SPV statutory accounts.

What You Will Be Doing

As a trusted part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and managing the project plan for the ARA, USSIM/USSL and SPV statutory accounts, including agreement of key milestones and deliverables
  • Managing key stakeholders and establishing effective working relationships with peers in Finance, Company Secretarial, and those contributing to the production of the front end of the Annual Report & Accounts, including the external design agency
  • Producing associated governance documents such as the Project Initiation Document (PID), risk register and stakeholder analysis
  • Providing regular reporting to stakeholders to demonstrate project progress against milestones
  • Working with the Financial Reporting team to deliver the Scheme Annual Report & Accounts in a timely and efficient manner, to the required level of quality and detail, including monitoring the progress of the verification file as information is received
  • Acting as the main point of contact with the external agency project manager to ensure alignment and tracking against the plan
