What will you do?
- Play and test the games.
- Find linguistic bugs and report these back using a bug database, communicating across global boundaries in clear English.
- Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness, and its accordance to cultural rules.
- Follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards.
- Write detailed bug reports using industry standard bug databases.
- Ensure that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly.
- Become the LQA Expert across a broad range of Indie to AAA projects.
- Manage, create, and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle.
- Participate in test requirement gathering with developers.
- Look for ways to make improvements and create efficiencies in your work.
- Cooperate with the QA team.

Requirements
- Native in Finnish.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Passionate about video games.
- Team player, able to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Pro-active, tenacious, and enthusiastic.
- Focus on quality and a keen eye for detail.
- Good with computers β word processing, database handling, record keeping, good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Right to work in the UK β these positions are not eligible for sponsorship.
- Previous experience in LQA, translation or proofreading is useful but not essential.
- Experience with software tools in use for LQA testing.
- Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ).
- Knowledge in video game industry and trends.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in linguistics is desirable but not essential.
