What will you do?
- Play and test the games, being relentless in your approach to testing.
- Find linguistic bugs and report these back using a bug database, communicating clearly in English.
Your job responsibilities include:
- Ensuring games and applications provide the best user experience by being linguistic bug free.
- Checking in-game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness, in accordance with cultural rules.
- Learning how to follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards.
- Using industry standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports.
- Taking ownership to ensure that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly.
- Becoming the LQA Expert across a broad range of projects.
- Owning, managing, creating, and executing test cases throughout the project life cycle.
- Participating in test requirement gathering with developers.
- Looking for ways to make improvements and create efficiencies in your work.
- Cooperating with the QA team.

You are a great match if you:
- Are an expert in Ukrainian.
- Have proficiency in written and spoken English.

- Have a focus on quality and a keen eye for detail.
- Are good with computers – word processing, database handling, record keeping, and have a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
It’s really useful if you have some of the following but if not, we can teach you:
- Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
- Experience with software tools used for LQA testing.
- Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ).
- Knowledge in the video game industry and trends.
Desirable but not essential:
- Bachelors or higher degree in linguistics.
