Our sites are in an easily accessible location just off Cowpen Road in Blyth, Northumberland.

Our Press Brake team work on a nightshift rotation, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off so you must be willing and able to work shifts.

What youll do:

Youll be Programming, Setting and Operating our Press brakes bending various types of metal

Youll look at plans for the finished product, make adjustments to the machine to control speed, material feed and path, as well as make sure the machines are set up properly, working well to ensure you produce a quality product

Generating Standard Operating Procedures and best working practices youll support the development and growth of the area

Making sure your machines are working at full capacity and are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained youll be performing periodic checks on output

Youll be working through a pipeline of jobs so will be constantly following and improving processes and procedures to achieve the most effective methods of production

Wed love you to:

Have Process experience on press brakes, ideally Trumpf machines

Know how to set a range of tooling in different machine types

Be able to read technical drawings in both 3rd and 1st angle projection

Thrive in a fast-moving environment where you really challenge yourself to meet production schedules and exceed your targets

Enjoy identifying and implementing process improvements

Have good number skills that will help you to understand complex instructions and make sure items are designed and built correctly
