We are seeking an experienced Business Development Principal with a strong background in the Defence industry to drive new business opportunities and establish our company as a trusted supply partner within this sector. The successful candidate will leverage their industry knowledge and existing network to identify, develop, and secure new contracts.
A specialist in Defence industry business development, comfortable in fast paced, complex, craft based, technical and commercial environment. A business winner, you can sell and scale our service offering, creating and sustaining sales revenue whilst building industry-wide stakeholder networks. Commercially aware, you have experience of the bid/proposal process and relevant industry standards in the Defence sector. You build long-term commercially sound stakeholder relationships.
You have understanding and access to industry intelligence, able to take a holistic view of the big picture, weighing both internal and external factors in order to maximise our presence and success in the market. You have the ability to understand and grow sales in a ‘craft based’ organisation.
