USSG is currently recruiting Store Detectives to work within the following areas: Edinburgh, Straiton, Wishaw, Bishopbriggs, Linwood, Glasgow, London Road, Clydebank, Falkirk, and Glasgow City. Your core store will be Glasgow City. Any travel completed to visit other stores that has a 15-mile radius or more will be compensated at £0.45 pence per mile. Due to the nature of this role, own transport is essential.
Duties:
- Implement loss prevention strategies to reduce theft and ensure security in various environments.
- Manage conflicts that may arise during interactions with the public.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a plain clothed Store Detective is essential.
- Strong understanding of ASCONE.
- Proficiency in surveillance methods, including the use of CCTV systems.
- Excellent report writing skills to document findings clearly and accurately.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security protocols.
- Effective conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for gathering evidence.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
