A warm and welcoming nursery in the Romney Marsh area seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join their team ASAP, working 3 days per week (Wednesday–Friday) until the end of the academic year in July as maternity cover. The nursery supports children aged 2–5 years and is looking for someone who can take ownership of planning in line with the EYFS curriculum, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Nursery Teacher Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework
- Support children aged 2–5 with their personal, social and emotional development
- Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Observe, assess and record progress to support next steps in learning
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual needs
- Recent experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting (essential)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development
- Confident planning and delivering structured early years learning
- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
- Ability to drive or live locally strongly preferred (nursery is only on one bus route)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
