Universal Quantum is seeking an Experimental Quantum Physicist in the United Kingdom to calibrate, characterise and operate cutting-edge quantum experiments.

You will develop control protocols for ion shuttling and quantum gates, and perform detailed calibrations on quantum hardware.

The role requires hands-on work across laser systems, optics, microwave/RF control and high-precision imaging, with collaboration across physics and engineering teams to push new technologies forward.
