A Day in The Life

Polydor Label Group (PLG) unites three legendary UK music labels-Polydor, Capitol, and 0207 Def Jam-creating a powerhouse for the world’s most iconic artists. We work in close collaboration with our Universal Music partners in the US, including Interscope Capitol Label Group, and Republic Corps.

The PLG roster boasts an extraordinary lineup of talent, featuring Sam Fender, Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine, Olivia Dean, Sam Smith, Stormzy, The Rolling Stones, Ellie Goulding, Michael Kiwanuka, The Cure, and many more.

Additionally, we’re proud to represent a stellar array of US and international superstars, including Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, and Dr. Dre.

  • You’ll oversee Polydor Label Groups release schedule in respect to inputting all digital, physical and video releases.

  • Administering and updating the release schedule itself and running a weekly ‘Release Schedule’ meetings to inform marketing, streaming, legal and A&R Leads

  • Working closely with central production team to have all digital products ready and live for sale across all retail partners on release date, globally.

  • Working closely with the marketing team to agree and initiate all digital audio and video releases.

  • Working closely with A&R and marketing team to provide clear deadlines for delivery of all parts related to digital releases.

  • Working closely with A&R admin team to ensure clear lead-times for completion of all release information.

  • Collating/overseeing the collection of all parts required for a release

  • Ultimately this role see’s projects through from inception- scheduled -initiated, to their release

  • Working with marketing, artists, and management team to seek final approval and sign off on digital artwork and video files.

  • Overseeing the label’s video delivery strategy to optimise monetisation across all partners – liaising with all relevant departments, production, and supply chain.

  • This includes working with respective US labels to ensure publishing clearance for videos in CLA system in term for video launches.

  • Ensuring that all relevant clearances (greenlisting, UGC exception) have occurred for audio and video to be accessible across artist socials/platforms

  • Video partners to be considered include – VEVO, Youtube, Tik Tok, Meta & Connected TV’s

  • Polydor Label Group release schedule management
