The A Side: A Day in The Life
UMUK value e-Commerce as a key foundational channel to connect artists and fans. This is an exciting and challenging role to help manage a number of incredible artist ecommerce stores for one of Universal’s frontline labels.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior eCommerce Store Manager to manage a selection of evergreen artist stores and support a Senior Store Management lead. From product set up through to album pre-order campaigns on artist stores, we are looking for a junior store manager who is organised, has great attention to detail and is a collaborative team player.
This Junior eCommerce Store Manager will work with Universal’s frontline labels to launch multiple artist’s eComm stores, as well as support our team of store managers to provide product set up and ecommerce best practise across UX, ecommerce retailing and customer experience across Universal’s eCommerce stores. The successful candidate will bring a passion for music and eCommerce, with a strong desire to learn and develop as an eCommerce Manager.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be Operational & Collaborative
Daily store management of a portfolio of artist stores, managing basic theming and UX, merchandising and category management in line with eComm best practice
Project manage the day-to-day activities & future projects on our PM tool Monday.com, collaborating with the wider central team and frontline labels
Work with e-Commerce Ops and Customer Service to resolve issues on supply chain, ensure products stay in stock and constantly measure the customer feedback loop; ensure customer happiness and loyalty
Be Administrative
Organise, own and communicate throughout the product set-up flow – from receiving the label’s brief of products, product set-up across our eComm systems, to launches across multiple artist stores on Shopify
Utilise functionality of the Shopify stack to create amazing customer journeys and experiences for the label’s artist stores
Work with the store management team and frontline labels in delivering sales, stock, and store performance reporting
Necessary
A passion for and understanding of eCommerce, with a keen eye for what makes a great customer experience on stores
Ability to execute tasks with accuracy in a high-pressure, fast-paced agile environment
Strong problem-solving skills
An understanding of site performance metrics
Understanding of SEO best practices
CMS experience, preferably within eCommerce
Desirable
Shopify experience and the ability to work with store CMS and themes
Experience of working with stock management and/or order management systems
Experience of working within fashion, lifestyle or music ecommerce
Basic Adobe Photoshop skills?
Experience using project management tools eg. Monday.com
