The Senior Manager, UK & European Audit at UMPG will lead the audit function in collaboration with a world-class Royalty team to ensure accurate royalty accounting for songwriters.

Reporting to the VP UK and European Administration, the role involves managing the end-to-end audit process and engaging with major deals, signings, and international projects.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the audit process from receipt of audit notice through to response to audit reports.
  2. Developing communication templates for external and internal messaging.
  3. Managing internal audit compliance measures.
  4. Providing feedback for continuous improvement based on audit findings.
  5. Generating royalty datasets, statements, and suspense reports.
  6. Preparing source documents and synch documentation for audits.
  7. Researching audit claims and liaising with Business Affairs for settlement agreements.
  8. Reporting audit status to senior management and undertaking ad hoc projects.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in the music or media industries.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven leadership in a business function.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and text editing tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing priorities.
