New Business Assistant is responsible for supporting UMGB’s global team in their efforts to secure and execute large scale brand partnerships. This position conducts extensive research, builds presentations, gathers and delivers artist and brand-specific assets and insights that support day-to-day lead generation and business development activities.

  • Research potential partners and appropriate contacts as part of UMGB’s lead generation efforts
  • Build new business presentations that highlight artists and creative ideas for active pitches and potential partnerships
  • Gather all new business assets needed for a new partnership pitch
  • Manage new business team’s CRM database
  • Provide assistance to UMGB team for tasks related to new business-led events and conference activity
  • Undertake initial new business outreach to support distribution of products to relevant brands
  • Develop thought-leadership and awareness-driving activities
  • Represent UMG in business situations

Requirements:

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Professional demeanor in dealing with clients and coworkers
  • Ability to craft executive-level presentations
  • Ability to be very detail-oriented
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Marketing experience in digital or mobile entertainment strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate in a highly collaborative manner and work in pressure situations
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of personnel
