  • Owns defined tasks or small workstreams, following through from initial brief to completion and escalating where support is needed.
  • Builds and maintains practical tools, trackers, workflows or simple automations that help the team work more efficiently.
  • Uses data and AI tools to support analysis, reduce repetitive work and improve the quality and speed of team outputs.
  • Investigates developments across D2C products and experiences, fan engagement, fan data and digital commerce, sharing relevant trends, ideas and examples in a clear and useful way.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues across UMG to help the team stay connected, informed and focused on the work that will have the greatest impact.

Skills And Experience Required:

  • Strong interpersonal judgement, with the ability to listen well, build trust and work effectively with a range of people and teams.
  • A genuine passion for music and interest in how artists connect with fans through digital platforms, commerce, content and data.
  • Confidence using data and technology to solve problems, including analysing data in spreadsheets and using AI productivity tools.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to take ownership of tasks, ask questions and learn quickly in a fast‑moving environment.

Nice to have:

  • Experience through internships, work placements, projects or early roles in music, media, technology, e-commerce or a related area.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, data or workflow tools such as Shopify, Looker Studio or similar platforms.
  • Experience writing basic code or automating tasks using AI tools to improve workflows, organise information or accelerate analysis.
  • An interest in how digital products, data and commerce systems work together to support fan engagement.

Key Behaviours:

  • Embraces diversity of thought and experience, contributing to an inclusive and respectful team culture.

This role sits within a small, high‑expectation team working on one of UMG’s important growth areas. It offers the opportunity to build experience across D2C strategy, project delivery, team operations, data, automation and fan engagement.
