The Role: Mercury Studios is seeking a driven and highly organised Sales & Marketing Manager to join our Commerce team. Working across Blu‑ray, vinyl, CD, merch and VOD releases, you’ll play a key role in maintaining release schedules, coordinating global sales and marketing activity, supporting PR and social campaigns with artists and external agencies, and analysing sales and forecasting data to maximise campaign performance. You’ll collaborate closely with UK and US sales teams, contribute ideas to release strategy, and help shape catalogue pricing and management.
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive and solutions‑focused mindset, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to push projects forward and uncover every opportunity for success.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Planning & Coordination: Support global sales planning processes, including forecasting, demand tracking, and performance reporting. Consolidate territory forecasts and provide analysis to support commercial decision‑making. Monitor sales performance across markets and highlight risks and opportunities. Assist in aligning regional teams around targets and release plans. Work closely with all markets with particular focus on US and UK teams.
- Release & Product Setup: Support the planning and rollout of physical releases, including format mix, pricing, and configuration. Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate product setup and delivery timelines. Maintain and track release schedules across territories. Ensure product information is clearly communicated to international teams.
- Marketing Coordination & Communication: Support the development of global marketing plans and campaign materials. Coordinate the distribution of campaign assets, toolkits, and guidelines to regional teams. Take ownership of social media marketing campaigns for physical and digital product. Act as a central point of contact for international markets, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Track campaign implementation and gather feedback from territories.
- Catalogue & Lifecycle Support: Assist in identifying opportunities for catalogue activity, including reissues and themed campaigns. Support the execution of catalogue initiatives across international markets. Monitor performance and contribute insights to inform future planning.
- Data, Reporting & Insights: Compile and analyse sales data, forecasts, and campaign performance metrics. Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. Track market trends and competitor activity within the physical space.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with global, regional, production, and supply chain teams to support execution. Coordinate timelines and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders. Support budget tracking and administrative processes where required.
- Experience in sales, commercial, or marketing support within home entertainment, music, or media.
- Understanding of physical formats (DVD, Blu‑ray, CD, Vinyl) and the retail environment.
- Strong marketing initiative and skills.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills across multiple territories.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Clear and confident communicator, comfortable working with international teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
