The Role

UMG has acquired a new company comprising of 3 divisions and legal entities incorporated in 12 countries run by central finance teams based in Netherlands and the US. The Senior Business Process Analyst will assist in the onboarding of the newly acquired company, helping the finance teams in the transition to UMG financial reporting standards under IFRS, including the adoption of UMG global finance processes. A primary focus will be migrating from their current reporting structure and current ERP’s on to those used at UMG. You will assist with tools and have a knowledge of reporting under IFRS and working under project timelines to reach critical reporting and transition timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with tools and plans to transition from a central consolidated reporting model to individual reporting entity submissions.
  • Demonstrate experience in reading reporting models and data mapping.
  • Guide the reporting of purchase accounting adjustments.
  • Partner with new company Finance Directors (FDs) and UMG Corporate Finance.
  • Ensure changes in accounting policy are tracked and implemented.
  • Transition from manual reporting models to UMG’s integrated global finance stack within the next 12 months.
  • Work with operational finance teams to help implement process changes.
  • Adopt UMG’s standard documented processes and practices.
  • Provide required training and go‑live support.
  • Assist and monitor the migration to UMG’s SAP Global ERP from a mix of 3 to 5 legacy ERP systems.
  • Support the onboarding to BlackLine reporting under UMG’s global template.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Be a qualified accountant with experience in group reporting and month‑end close reporting.
  • Possess a beneficial background in an audit or controls‑led environment under SOX.
  • Experience in transitioning balance‑sheet migrations and P&L reporting models.
  • Demonstrate experience in periodic close accounting and working within month‑end close timetables.
  • Proven record of data modelling, advanced Excel or Power Automate/BI skills, and designing data templates for end users.
  • Display project management skills with a strong ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to manage intercompany elimination processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC.
  • HFM and BlackLine knowledge desirable.
