Lab Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, set up and conduct practical experiments to support knowledge in the technical team.
• Record, analyse and report experimental data.
• Maintain laboratory records to the required standards.
• Contribute to the development of in-house testing capability to internal and external standards.
• Provide customer support in the form of preparation of samples or support data.
• Present results to the rest of the technical team and senior members of staff as required.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities in good working order and contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment in all areas.
• Work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to assist with scale up and Technology transfer activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BSc Chemistry (or related Material Science or Engineering degree).
• 1 year industry experience (preferred).

• Must have valid work permit for the UK and have valid driver’s license.

• Candidates must be based within commuting distance or willing to relocate.
