Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a Residential Manager to join our growing team! This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting and employment verification. Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients.
As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Residential Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides efficient and effective management and coordination of activities of assigned shift and assists in the supervision of all direct care staff to assure the safety and security of the facility is maintained at all times. Responsible as a member of the program team who observes and reports physical and behavioral symptoms under the direction of the Director of Residential Services or Assistant Director of Residential Services. Serves as a role model to staff and students in dress and demeanor. Exercises appropriate interventions under the direction of the Residential Manager. Performs proper HWC techniques, demonstrating knowledge of patient and staff safety. Completes debriefings as indicated.
