Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. We offer the most advanced behavioral health diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. Registered Nurses play a vital role in the care and safety of our patients at Hampton Behavioral Health Center. The Registered Nurse provides direct care for our patients under the guidance of our physicians and treatment teams, maintains a safe and supportive environment for patients through the implementation of safety checks and crisis management, documents patient care, and upholds the core values of Hampton Behavioral Health Center.
This is a full-time position on the adolescent unit with a schedule from 3pm - 11pm, 4 days/week. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assesses and responds to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians.
- Conducts safety checks and implements appropriate behavioral management techniques.
- Maintains the core values and mission of Hampton Behavioral Health Center.

Qualifications
- Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
- Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
- Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
- ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
- CPR certification required.
