We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and experienced Behavior Technician for our LifeWorks School in Doylestown, PA for the 2025-2026 Academic School Year. This position qualifies for a $6,000 joining bonus! Must complete onboarding package within 7 days of job offer.
The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school affected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. LifeWorks’ comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes. Our unique balance of academic rigor and a continuum of evidence-based educational/therapeutic supports makes LifeWorks the regional provider of choice.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Provide behaviour management support to all staff by working with students on both an individual and group basis as needed.
- Monitor student behavioural achievement through observation and other quantitative methods.
- Manage student behaviour through level system, S.M.A.R.T. Program and School wide Discipline Plan.
- Monitor student’s behaviour improvement plan (if applicable) or Positive Behaviour Support Plan (if applicable) and address goals and objectives.
- Complete tasks assigned by staff pertaining to school environment, behavioural interventions, and other operational functions in the school, i.e. discipline consequences, peer mediation, conflict resolution, restitution, phone calls to parents/guardians, Functional behavioural assessments, discipline referral tabulation, etc.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s level degree in Education, Criminal Justice, or other related degree in Human Services field of study preferred.
- Experience with Special Education is preferred.
- Prior experience working with adolescents with behavioural health challenges within a school setting is highly desirable.
