Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.
Position Summary
The Dietary Aide is responsible for the following:
- Assisting with preparing the salad bar
- Maintaining an adequate supply of beverages
- Ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies
- Operating the dish machine
- Assisting the cook as required
- Stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Serve meals to all cafeteria customers
- Clean work area as necessary or assigned
- Accept and reconcile deliveries and put away stock
- Prepare refreshments for special functions

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Prior experience in food service, basic knowledge of food service handling and sanitation required
- Ability to obtain Food Handler Certification upon hire
- CPR and HWC Crisis Intervention training must be completed prior to beginning work
- Must be available to attend the full hospital orientation: Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
