Contracts Manager - Cladding/Recladding in London

We\’re working closely with a specialist façades contractor who deliver high-quality cladding and re-cladding schemes across the South West. Due to a strong project pipeline and continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live projects and support ongoing framework commitments.

Role Overview

You\’ll take responsibility for the successful delivery of several cladding and re-cladding projects, ensuring they run safely, profitably, and to programme. This includes supervising Site Managers, liaising with clients and principal contractors, and ensuring compliance with all building safety and reclad-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple live cladding/re-cladding schemes across the South West.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide leadership and support to Site Managers, Project Managers, and installation teams.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, principal contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects comply with fire safety, remediation, and façade performance requirements.
• Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, and package coordination.
• Prepare and review RAMS, H&S documentation, and progress reporting.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
• Support tender handovers, pre-construction input, and value-engineering discussions.
• Oversee variations, commercial changes, and work closely with the commercial team to protect margins.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with company standards and industry best practice.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within façades, cladding, or specialist envelope works.
• Strong knowledge of re-cladding/remediation regulations and modern building safety standards.
• Strong client-facing skills, able to maintain and build relationships.
• Excellent understanding of programmes, commercial awareness, and project reporting.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West.
