About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Lead to take ownership of our marketing function, shaping and executing the brand’s marketing strategy to drive growth, awareness, and engagement. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives on both strategic thinking and rolling up their sleeves to deliver impactful campaigns. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and senior management to ensure Universal Colours continues to stand out in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the marketing strategy aligned with brand vision and business goals.
- Define clear objectives and KPIs across brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and community engagement.
- Report on KPIs.
- Plan, manage, and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, ambassadors, content, events, PR).
- Oversee content creation and storytelling across all platforms, ensuring consistency with brand tone and values.
- Manage the marketing calendar and launch timelines.
- Work closely with the marketing, e‑commerce, design, and product teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Brief and manage external agencies and freelancers (PR, creative, paid media, etc.).
- Provide direction and leadership to the internal team, ensuring alignment across functions.
- Setting and managing marketing budgets.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally within premium consumer, fashion, or sportswear brands.
- Strong track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
- Hands‑on experience across digital marketing, social media, content, PR, and events.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A creative thinker with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.
- Passion for cycling, fashion, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
