Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly

At Universal Care Services, we are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Recruitment Lead to help shape and strengthen our recruitment approach across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to support local recruitment teams, improve compliance, develop new talent pipelines, and drive innovative recruitment and retention strategies within adult social care.

You’ll work closely with branch teams, regional leaders and workforce colleagues to strengthen recruitment performance, improve systems and processes, and support safe and compliant recruitment practice.
What You’ll Do
- Lead innovative, localised recruitment campaigns across the region
- Support recruitment teams to improve performance, compliance and consistency
- Build diverse talent pipelines using local, national and international recruitment approaches
- Help promote brand awareness through social media, marketing channels and community engagement
- Help position the organisation as an employer of choice for people looking to start or grow a career in care
- Improve recruitment workflows and candidate experience through better use of systems and technology
- Monitor KPIs and recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire and turnover
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to strengthen recruitment strategies
- Support internal recruitment and succession planning across branches
- Coordinate attendance at job fairs, local employment events and community initiatives
- Build strong links with job centres, VCSE partners and other external stakeholders
- Support sponsorship activity and overseas recruitment monitoring in partnership with the Regional Manager
- Audit recruitment documentation to ensure compliance with safe recruitment standards and statutory requirements
- Provide recruitment cover when needed to support interviews and maintain service continuity
- Work with ATS and job board partners to maximise advertising performance and sourcing activity
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident leading recruitment activity across multiple locations. You should be comfortable working with data, supporting teams, improving processes and building positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or workforce planning
- Strong understanding of safe recruitment and compliance within a regulated environment
- Experience supporting or leading recruitment campaigns
- Confidence using ATS platforms, job boards and recruitment systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to analyse recruitment data and identify areas for improvement
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to support and guide recruitment teams
- An interest in innovation, continuous improvement and candidate experience
- Knowledge of adult social care recruitment, retention or sponsorship processes would be an advantage
