Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the candle manufacturing facility in Thanh Nam Ward, Ninh Binh Province, serving a workforce of 1,200 to 1,600.
- Oversee production engineering and operations, resolving day-to-day production problems.
- Ensure deliverables meet target timeframes and quality standards.
- Monitor order planning, administration, production and logistics.
- Assess production efficiency and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership on strategic objectives, manpower planning, cost accounting and cost control.
- Initiate annual production plan, setting goals, objectives, strategies and budget for growth.
- Develop training and educational programs for production staff.
Qualifications:
- High diploma or higher in factory production or related discipline.
- ~10 years experience managing factory production.
- Strong knowledge of production machine engineering.
- Strategic and analytical thinking for production improvement.
- Excellent organizational, management and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities, self-motivated, detail oriented, cost conscious, able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in English, Putonghua, Cantonese; Vietnamese a plus.
- Knowledge of candle production a plus.
- Experience with WOFE business operations in Vietnam a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of IBM AS/400 System a plus.
