We’re looking for a Client Strategy & Partnerships Principal — a senior leader who can turn early conversations into long‑term strategic relationships, shape high‑value advisory programmes, and guide clients through complex decisions with confidence and clarity.

What you’ll lead:

  • Opportunity development — take client interest from spark to fully defined strategic need.
  • Stakeholder engagement — build trust with senior leaders, understanding their pressures, priorities, and ambitions.
  • Strategic proposal shaping — craft compelling, insight‑driven advisory propositions.
  • Internal alignment — ensure clarity on scope, fees, deliverability, and resource needs.
  • Cross‑disciplinary collaboration — bring together the right internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional outcomes.

How you’ll build lasting partnerships:

  • Decode client organisations — understand their strategic drivers, influencers and long‑term direction.
  • Develop resonant solutions that speak directly to client need.

  • Use Win Maps to guide opportunities from early engagement to secured programmes.

Where you’ll shape strategic impact:

  • Define advisory scopes and lead multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Guide research and appraisal across options, benefits, and delivery sequencing.
  • Produce high‑quality outputs including business cases and Strategic Estates Development Plans (SEDPs).
  • Facilitate senior workshops that drive clarity and decision‑making.

Shape procurement and commercial success:

  • Design compliant procurement routes and long‑term partnering strategies.
  • Support clients through procurement to secure programme wins.
  • Lead bid contributions including presentations and dialogue sessions.

Ensure delivery excellence:

  • Oversee advisory delivery to ensure high standards and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted escalation point resolving issues constructively and confidently.
  • Champion governance and methodology ensuring consistent, high‑quality ways of working.

  • Familiar with RIBA stages, construction principles, cost planning, project management and technical documentation.
