We’re looking for a methodical and detail-oriented Stock Controller to take ownership of our inventory and order flow. Working across two local sites, you’ll be the crucial link between stock, production, and purchasing—ensuring materials are in the right place, at the right time, for every bespoke order we produce.
This is not your average stock role. Each order is unique, built to exacting specifications in very small batches, and your precision will help set the pace for the entire production team. You’ll be responsible for everything from booking in deliveries, picking jobs for production, and moving stock between sites, to regular stock checks, MRP updates, and sourcing workshop consumables.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in an organised, hands-on environment and can bring clarity and consistency to a fast-moving production space. You’ll need to be comfortable driving a van locally and working in a workshop as part of a small, friendly, hard-working team.
Requirements
- Prior experience in stock control or inventory management
- A highly organised, process-driven mindset
- Strong attention to detail and basic maths skills
- Confidence using stock software or MRP systems
- A full UK driving licence (able to drive a VW Crafter van)
- Willingness to pitch in with hands-on tasks when needed
- A team-first, proactive attitude
Benefits include:
- Free parking
- Snacks and coffee provided
- Free uniform
If you’re looking for a long-term role where your organisation and accuracy will make a real difference every day, this is the job for you.
