We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing, well‑established SME that specialises in bespoke, premium cardboard point‑of‑sale displays for brand owners selling into retail. This is a hands‑on Sales Executive role best suited to someone who enjoys owning relationships, following up opportunities, and keeping sales activity moving. It’s not a high‑pressure cold sales role; instead, you’ll be working with existing customers and inbound enquiries, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks and that every opportunity is maximised.
If you’re organised, proactive, confident on the phone and thrive in a small, fast‑moving environment where your impact is visible every day, this role will suit you perfectly.
The Role
As Sales Executive, you’ll play a central role in managing key customer accounts while supporting the wider sales process from enquiry through to order. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and nurturing relationships with a portfolio of existing customers
- Proactively calling existing customers to monitor activity, follow up on quotes and progress opportunities
- Responding to inbound enquiries, qualifying requirements and gathering full details
- Confidently picking up the phone to move conversations forward
- Managing the sales inbox and ensuring timely, professional responses
- Processing orders through to production stage
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring the sales pipeline is always up to date
- Supporting sales reporting, order tracking and day‑to‑day sales administration
- Booking meetings and providing wider sales support where required
This role is account‑management led, with administrative tasks forming part of the support function rather than the core focus.
What We’re Looking For
- A confident and professional phone manner - you’re comfortable speaking to customers daily
- Proven track record managing customers, sales pipelines or inbound enquiries
- A proactive, reliable and disciplined approach with strong attendance and work ethic
- Confidence using CRM systems and keeping accurate records
- A positive, “get up and go” attitude - you see tasks through and take ownership
Why Apply?
- You’ll join a small, close‑knit team where your contribution genuinely matters
- You’ll be trusted with responsibility and visibility from day one
- There is real potential progress as the team expands
If you’re looking for a sales role where you can build relationships, stay busy, add value and grow with a business that rewards commitment and drive, we’d love to hear from you.
