Are you an organised and commercially minded marketer who thrives on bringing events to life and building meaningful customer relationships? Our client is seeking a Marketing Executive to take ownership of exhibitions, events and customer engagement activities that directly support business growth. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you will play a key part in strengthening brand presence, generating market insight and helping the commercial team convert opportunities into results.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of activity, coordinating multiple projects, engaging with customers and delivering events that create measurable commercial impact.
The Role
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider commercial team, you'll be responsible for planning, promoting and delivering exhibitions, trade shows and field marketing initiatives, whilst ensuring every activity delivers tangible value to the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering exhibitions, events and field marketing campaigns
- Managing event logistics, suppliers, budgets and promotional activity
- Capturing and analysing event performance and ROI
- Conducting customer visits and gathering valuable market insight
- Developing customer testimonials, case studies and advocacy content
- Supporting the sales team with presentations, literature and marketing collateral
- Monitoring competitor activity, market trends and customer feedback
- Coordinating brand activation initiatives across multiple channels
- Supporting wider marketing projects and campaigns as required
About You
We're looking for a confident and personable marketing professional who enjoys building relationships and engaging with customers face-to-face. You will ideally have:
- At least 3 years' experience within events marketing, or a similar B2B marketing role
- Proven experience planning and executing exhibitions and events
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset
- The confidence to engage with customers, prospects and internal teams
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, environmental or construction sectors would be advantageous
- HubSpot experience would be beneficial but is not essential
