With a turnover of ÂŁ1.6 million and continuing growth, they are now looking to add a Sales Support Administrator to their team based in Doncaster.

The Role

As Sales Support Administrator, you’ll play a vital part in supporting both new business growth and existing customer relationships. (This is not a hard sales role, there will be no cold calling) This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organised, and enjoys variety.

You’ll be responsible for researching potential clients, initiating first contact via email or LinkedIn message, supporting existing customers, and ensuring a smooth process before handing over orders to the sales order processor. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining excellent customer service across calls, emails, and webchats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential schools, universities, colleges, and other educational organisations
  • Gather and input key contacts into the ACT CRM system
  • Send initial introduction emails and physical welcome packs
  • Follow up on packs and enquiries to generate further engagement
  • Manage existing customer accounts and build strong relationships
  • Handle repeat orders and enquiries, ensuring excellent service
  • Progress orders to the stage before handover to the Sales Order Processor
  • Track upcoming events (e.g., graduations) to support proactive outreach
  • Handle incoming calls, webchats, and emails professionally and promptly
  • Assist colleagues with ad hoc office tasks and “wear multiple hats” as needed
  • Previous experience in sales support, administration, or customer service is desirable
  • Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong research and organisational abilities
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Proactive and adaptable team player, willing to support wider office tasks
