What's the role about? As Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in keeping stock moving and ensuring products are available when customers need them. You'll be responsible for:
- Managing the purchasing and ordering cycle from start to finish.
- Monitoring supply and demand trends and highlighting potential risks before they impact stock availability.
- Liaising with suppliers across the UK and Europe to ensure timely deliveries.
- Supporting internal sales and commercial teams with accurate supply updates.
- Managing ERP system activities including purchase orders, stock monitoring and exception management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise and manage purchase orders through the ERP system.
- Monitor stock levels, supplier performance and delivery schedules.
- Proactively identify potential shortages, delays or supply risks and escalate where appropriate.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers and coordinate resolutions to delivery issues.
- Support the Commercial Manager with purchasing and supply activities.
- Provide accurate supply chain information to internal stakeholders, including sales teams.
- Assist colleagues and provide cover across the supply chain function during busy periods or absences.
About You: To be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain, Purchasing, Buying or Procurement Coordinator position.
- ERP system experience, ideally NetSuite or a similar platform.
- Experience working within a B2B environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising accuracy.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the confidence to identify trends and potential issues quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
- French or Spanish language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
