Operations Manager

Description Job Title: Operations Manager Location: Northwood, Watford. Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + GBS Bonus Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (45 hours per week) Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays (including Christmas break) Parking: On-site parking About the Role: We're looking for an energetic, hands-on Operations Manager to lead production and logistics in a growing, dynamic company. This is a vital role, and we need someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump in when the team needs support. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage daily operations across production, logistics, and warehousing. * Implement lean processes (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to boost efficiency and productivity. * Manage supply chain and inventory to minimise costs and improve accuracy. * Support and develop a motivated, high-performing team. * Troubleshoot production/logistics issues—get involved when things need fixing. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and improve operational reporting. Requirements * Experience in operations management (manufacturing/production/logistics/supply chain experience is a plus). * Strong background in lean methodologies and process improvement. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and drive change. * Hands-on attitude—willing to get involved on the ground when needed. * A problem-solver with great organisational and analytical skills.
