We’re recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to join a small, growing, purpose-driven artisan bakery based in Lincolnshire. Operating from a modern site just outside Lincoln, this bakery supplies premium, handcrafted goods to high-end cafés, restaurants, and local events across the region.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a tight-knit, passionate team at a time of rapid growth. The business has doubled in size over the past year – and now needs someone like you to take the reins of day-to-day operational coordination, freeing up other staff to focus on growth and sales.
Your Mission
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideally suited to someone with a background in logistics, food production, or hospitality operations. You\’ll be the glue between baking, delivery, stock, and systems, ensuring everything happens on time and to the highest standards.
From route planning to stock control, invoice oversight to staff scheduling, you’ll make sure every handcrafted product reaches its destination as beautifully as it left the oven.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production and delivery schedules
- Plan efficient van routes and oversee dispatch
- Manage ingredient purchasing and stock levels
- Implement clear cut-offs and streamline order entry
- Oversee invoicing using Xero (reducing manual error)
- Support and schedule casual and core team staff
- Troubleshoot issues calmly and proactively
- Liaise with bakers to uphold product quality and consistency
Requirements
