We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security & Data Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience installing and commissioning electronic security and structured cabling systems. You'll take ownership of taking project install from start to finish, manage first-fix subcontractors or trainees, and deliver work to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, and commissioning of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, Intercom, and Data Cabling systems
- Oversee and support assistant engineers or subcontractors during project delivery
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards and customer specifications
- Conduct site surveys, produce as-fitted documentation, and liaise with clients professionally, including training on the systems
- Work autonomously or as part of a wider project team
- Strong fault-finding, cabling, commissioning and general practical skills
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and permission to work in UK
- BS7858 vetting and enhanced DBS clearance required (or eligibility to obtain)
- IP networking and fibre termination knowledge
- ECS/CSCS, IPAF, or PASMA certification
