What's the role about?
As Operations Director, you will take full ownership of end-to-end operations across warehousing, logistics, transport, and production/assembly. Key areas of focus include:
- Building a scalable operational platform to support significant growth
- Leading major transformation projects including WMS implementation
- Optimising depot network efficiency across multiple UK locations
- Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Embedding data-driven decision making and technology adoption
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all operational functions across warehousing, logistics, transport, and production across 3 distribution centres
- Develop and deliver a scalable operational strategy aligned to growth targets
- Implement systems and infrastructure improvements, including WMS and automation
- Optimise transport networks and depot performance across multiple sites
- Drive KPI performance including DIFOT, cost efficiency, and customer experience
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing operational teams
- Deliver strategic projects on time and within budget
