The Opportunity
We are working confidentially with a growing UK B2B manufacturing business operating within the packaging sector. The company is entering an ambitious phase of growth and is refocusing its marketing efforts on new customer acquisition through clear, campaign-led execution. This newly defined role has been created to turn strategy into action. It is a hands-on Digital Marketing position for someone who enjoys delivery, ownership, and measurable commercial impact. You will be responsible for executing digital campaigns, improving website conversion, and generating high-quality enquiries from priority customer segments. This role suits someone who wants to focus on doing, testing, and improving, rather than people management or high-level strategy setting. This is a UK-based, in-house role. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. The position is predominantly office-based in Grimsby (circa 70%), working closely with the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute customer-segment-led digital campaigns from brief through to delivery
- Generate meaningful B2B enquiries through targeted digital activity and content
- Build and optimise landing pages, emails, and campaign assets, including email journeys
- Improve website clarity, calls-to-action, and enquiry conversion rates
- Create practical, commercially focused content that supports campaigns and sales activity
- Track enquiry sources, campaign performance, and conversion metrics
- Use data and insight to refine, scale, or stop activity
- Own paid media performance, working with external partners where required
This Role Is Not
- A brand-led or social media-first role
- A strategy-only position
- A role focused on day-to-day agency management
This is an execution-focused role with clear commercial impact.
Requirements
- Hands-on digital marketing experience within a UK B2B environment (manufacturing or industrial experience is advantageous)
- Proven experience generating demand and enquiries — not just producing activity
- Comfortable working across website, email, CRM, and social channels
- Commercially minded, with a focus on lead quality, pipeline, and outcomes
- Practical, self-directed, and confident working within a lean team
You’ll Succeed in This Role If You
- Take ownership and follow things through
- Care more about outcomes than outputs
- Focus on generating real, commercially valuable enquiries
- Prefer simple, effective solutions over unnecessary complexity
- Maintain momentum by testing, learning, and improving continuously
Benefits
- A business where people who enjoy getting things done thrive
- A culture that values progress over polish
- A small, focused marketing function with real autonomy
- Direct access to decision-makers and senior leadership
- Clear direction — strategy is set, expectations are defined
- A genuine opportunity to make a visible impact on business growth
- Company-wide profit share aligned to performance and growth
