The Role

Working as a mobile engineer, you'll attend a variety of commercial sites carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and ventilation systems.

Typical duties include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Air conditioning servicing
  • Ventilation system maintenance
  • Air Handling Unit (AHU) servicing, including filter and belt replacement
  • Refrigerant leak detection, pressure testing, repair and recharge
  • System performance checks and control adjustments
  • Completing job reports using a mobile field management system
  • Providing professional customer updates on site
  • Participation in a shared out-of-hours call rota

Every day offers a varied mix of maintenance, repairs and technical problem-solving, with work carefully scheduled to balance travel, customer requirements and engineer expertise.

Training & Development

The successful candidate will receive ongoing investment through both mandatory and manufacturer-led training, including courses such as:

  • CSCS
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
  • Manufacturer product training
  • Industry refresher courses

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience maintaining commercial HVAC systems
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Relevant air conditioning qualifications, including F-Gas certification
  • Experience working with commercial air conditioning and ventilation equipment
  • A basic understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Good IT skills for completing digital job reports
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A professional, positive attitude
  • A full UK driving licence
