This is a highly visible role where you’ll spend the majority of your time meeting customers, visiting sites, supporting store activity and strengthening relationships across your territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts.
  • Build strong relationships through regular face-to-face meetings and proactive communication.
  • Identify opportunities to increase spend, grow market share and win new business.
  • Support regional trade stores in driving customer activity and achieving sales targets.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven sales and account management experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience within construction, building materials, merchants, distributors or a related sector would be highly advantageous.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of delivering growth.
  • Self-motivated and organised, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to influence customers and build multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Comfortable working autonomously whilst remaining a strong team player.
  • CRM experience and strong administrative discipline.
  • Full UK driving licence.

The Ideal Candidate:

You’ll be a proactive, driven and customer-focused sales professional who enjoys being in front of customers and uncovering opportunities. Whether you’re currently working for a builders’ merchant, construction products manufacturer, distributor or related supplier, you’ll understand the importance of service, responsiveness and relationship-led sales.

In return, you’ll join a growing business with a strong reputation, excellent support structure and genuine opportunity to make a significant impact across your region.
