Duties

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maternity cover Senior Supply Chain Planner to join the Supply Chain team in Widnes (up to 12 months).

You will be required to perform a level of management and coaching with your team as well as managing your own portfolio of products. You will be responsibleformanagingpurchase quantities and timing in line with stock level and sales demand,to maximize the rotationandminimize the working capital while ensuringgoodproductavailability.

Additionally, you will ensure that the stock quantity, quality and rotation is in accordance with business requirements for your defined product range, deciding when, how and how much to order, in the most efficient way.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• The Senior Supply Chain Planner will take responsibilitywith limited supervision fromtheirmanagerand willmanage and coach planners
• Takes on projects to improve the supply chainfunctioneither in thelocalteam or within the EMEA supply chainteamor cross-functionally
• Responsiblefor all own portfolioand alsofor teambeing responsible fortheir own portfolios
• Find r oot causes for missed orders andcandefine measurements to avoid issues in the future
• Solves complex customer requests or supplier/customer complaints for the team
• Responsible for the product availability and stock level for defined product range
• Generatingand managing allnecessaryproduction orders,purchaseordersandtransferorders
• Where relevant, ensure availability of raw materials,resourceand containers to plan production for finished goods,liaisingwith site to ensure production happens as planned
• Manage inboundshippingwith carriers contracted by Logistics
• Review Segmentation report toascertainif suggested stock levels are correct, and override whererequiredi.e.Customers gained or lost, seasonal demand changes, market changes asadvisedby Product Managers
• Investigate and document any non-compliance in supply flow, propose solutions to avoid repetition of non-compliance

We Are Looking For

• Degree in business administration,logistics, supply chain or equivalentisadvantageous.
• Previousexperience managing a team isrequired
• Relevant working experiencewithin a supply chain orpurchasingrole required andpreviousexperiencein aninternational trade import-export operationis advantageous
• Good knowledge in MS Office, especially in Exceland SAP mandatory
• Good skills in local language and fluent skills in English
• Pro-active, structured, driven and take full ownership to get things done
• You have good planning and analytical skills
