We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join the Supply Chain team in either Manchester or Widnes on a Fixed Term Contract basis (12 months). The role is responsible for raising Purchase Orders and managing stock levels in and out of the business to support demand and to ensure appropriate stock levels at all times as well as liaising with the Operations site to deliver a range of general administration duties using SAP, Microsoft Office and hard copy files. You will raise, expedite and deal with any issues that occur for all materials aligned to your portfolio and will strive for excellence in customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:- To build strong, proactive relationships with your team and co-workers
- To complete all administrative duties within agreed time scales
- To produce and process dispatch paperwork, raise purchase orders and scan various documentation
- Liaise with 3rd Party logistics via email and phone
- Prioritise your workload effectively
- Continuously review all activities adopting a “can do” and proactive approach
- Be compliant with all legislative and statutory requirements
- You will also be required to support the daily transactions and ensure accurate paperwork is produced and our customer requests are met
- Managing queries through the SAP workflow and assisting colleagues with workflow queries
- Supporting stock administration and work to very tight deadlines
- Compliance to all Company procedures and legislative requirements
- To perform administrative tasks as directed
- Review and investigate OTIF misses
- The successful candidate should have good numeracy and statistics skills and must have knowledge of Excel
- Experience of SAP and RF systems would be significant advantage
- Flexibility is required to meet the varying administrative tasks that the role requires
- You will strive for excellence in your accuracy of information whilst maintaining a calm approach
- You should have the ability to meet all strict deadlines
- You must be customer focused, providing excellent service at all times and it is essential that you’re a good team player
This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months to cover Maternity Leave.
