We're on the lookout for HGV drivers with a current ADR licence to help keep our retail customers happy and ensure the chemicals and ingredients used in everyday products get safely to our customers, helping keep our communities healthy, fed, clean, and safe.
You will be required to drive Category C and Category C+E vehicles, including both 26t and 44t as needed. Our fleet consists of DAF CF and brand new XG fully automatic vehicles, providing everything you need while you're out on the road.
We offer a competitive package of £35,272.56 (which includes a performance quarterly bonus), along with training and progression opportunities for those drivers who want to advance their careers with us.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:- Experienced in driving Rigid (Class 2) and articulated (Class 1) vehicles.
- Communicating with our customers at their sites and providing a first-class service.
- Ensuring the safe delivery of products to customers across the Univar Solutions Network, including packed goods and Low Pressure Discharges of our liquid products.
- Complying with all safety processes, procedures, and legislation.
- Understanding, prioritising, and escalating our customers' feedback and requests to our internal teams.
- A UK resident currently living in the UK, with the right to work in the UK (offer of employment is subject to satisfactory proof of this).
- Hold a current ADR licence and Driver CPC.
- Care deeply about delivering a world-class service.
