Hours: 37.5 hours / week, occasional on-call

About this role: As a senior carer you'll split your week between visits and team leadership: running shadow shifts for new starters, holding monthly one-to-ones, and helping shape care plans alongside our clinical lead. You'll be a steady presence for both the clients and the carers in your team.

What you’ll do:

  • Mentor and supervise a small team of carers
  • Run shadow visits and induction shifts
  • Conduct monthly supervisions and spot checks
  • Support care plan reviews with the clinical lead
  • Cover priority visits when needed

What we’re looking for:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of UK community care experience
  • Calm, organised and a great communicator
  • Reliable transport and a UK driving licence

Visit a small, regular caseload of clients to support with personal care, companionship and the routines that matter most to them. Cover Saturday and Sunday rounds with our weekend team. Ideal for students, parents or anyone wanting a steady weekend role. Provide round-the-clock companionship and support in a single client’s home for one- or two-week placements at a time.
